With degrees in Biomedical Electronics and Computer Service, Mr. Kerr started his data adventure at Union Memorial Hospital in 1984, spending mornings scrubbed in with the Surgical Pacemaker Team, and afternoons as a Voice and Data Communications Specialist. This lead to an opportunity with Blue Cross/Blue Shield as they relocated from Towson to Owings Mills (with redundant Data Center in Columbia, MD) in 1989, 90, and 91. The MedStar Health Data Center in White Marsh was the next stop, distributing Network Services to seven major hospitals in the greater Baltimore/DC area. Immaculate Conception Catholic Campus followed by GO! Consulting bring us up to date. Primary areas of expertise include Voice Systems (call processing, voice mail, voice menu, ACD, and CDR), copper and fiber infrastructure, and physical plant design.
